Going in all directions!

Good morning,
A bit cooler this morning than the past few. Really crazy weather for the past few weeks. Most days above normal, then a couple of below normal temperature. I stuck my nose outside as I went to bed last night, it felt as if the colder weather is on the way and here to stay I think. Talking of a snow/rain mix tomorrow morning. I really do wish the weather would make up it's mind as to what season it is. Has been interesting.
We did get a dumping of rain Saturday night. Guessing by the amounts left in things outside, it must have been close to an inch. The area around the house looks like it is early spring with all of the water around. The firewood buck is surrounded by water. Sure hope it drains away soon. Suspect there will be a film of ice on it this morning too. Have my eye on a couple of trees to bring down in the next couple of days.

So the woodstove is simmering and so is the bacon. I will add some scrambled eggs and leftover fried potatoes to the pan, calling it breakfast. We picked up some 1# bags of "baby" carrots @ 4/$1.00 yesterday. Will try freezing some and dehydrating of them for future use. Also got some big mushrooms for cheap. We like them coated and then fried for a meal, usually lunch. Today we will pick up some pork sausage rolls and links @ $1.00/#. We keep looking for the bargains and putting them into the freezer and such.
Still fiddling with this machine so far this morning. Will have to get after some other useful things soon though.

Trying to do a couple of things at the same time. Some what less than great success! Tried to write a cover letter to send in with a bill payment and discovered the printer is not installed - yet! It now is after the 4th try. Then discovered I don't remember how to set up the address format for the envelop. Still don't have that totally figured out, but will eventually. Discovered the scanner was not yet installed either. I had forgotten about that. Seems it needs something in the neighborhood of 2,800+ minutes to install! Only 2% there at the moment.
I took down a couple of mirrors to hang the new wall furnace. Now in the process of laying out the mounting holes and the opening for the exhaust. I will put an 8" hole through the wall. His unit is about 4" narrower than the first one I put in. Mounts to only one stud.
Nearly time for lunch
