Too warm and no more snow
1:50 P.M.
32 F, NW wind 8 mph gusting 20 mph.
Temperature is at freezing point, so everything is melting and getting soggy outside! Everything dripping down my neck! I think we got a couple inches of snow overnight until about noon.
The plugged shower turned out to be a plugged sewer line, somewhere past the hours. I really don't want to dig up the pipe again!! I got some gel drain cleaner and will try that first. This time I will put a clean out near the house so I can more easily get at it. At present I have a rubber coupling which I can remove, but that requires a lot of digging to get at it. If the drain cleaner doesn't work, I will need to go to Fleet Farm to get the clean out. Can't do that until Friday, since they are closed for Thanksgiving. Just in case, I brought in the "prota-potty" from storage to use in the meantime.
I have brought in a good share of the tree I cut down the other day. It is very wet and soggy digging the logs out from under the snow. So far, I haven't slipped and fallen in the mess on the ground. Now that I have said that, I probably will.
Got a notice in the mail today that I have to bring a snack for after the late service on Sunday. Margriet has it all planned out, so all I have to do is the quality control part.
Back to hauling logs, want to get the cut up today too.
