Guds Nordtre or Bust!

Good morning,

Today we start, or continue, a new adventure in our lives, so this will be short. We are so excited to get after it. The truck is packed, the tank if full, and my back is sore. Guess we are ready. There still are our personal things to go into the truck and a couple of stops uptown to make, the nort’ we go.

We went to the bank to get a cashier’s check for Guds Nordtre yesterday, causing Margriet to write the check for the largest amount in her life. She was a bit nervous about that and also excited at the same time. We sure have spent a bunch of money this past week - new truck, new glasses, and Guds Nordtre among other things. We hope we will never have to do that again.
Yesterday afternoon we had our pictures taken for the new church directory. Not the most fun job for us to take part in. I always feel that we are being asked to look like something we aren’t. Oh well. Will look for the results to be posted at the post office soon. The cost of the picture has about tripled since the last directory. Like almost everything, they are very expensive. We did pick some "extra" pictures to send to folks too.

Adding a picture of our new truck for your perusal. It is one that we will not keep very long, but bought it to do a job and that is all. Sure glad to have it, but it sure takes a lot of work to fill a space 6'-0"h x 6'-6"w x 12'-0" l though. Lots of up-ing and down-ing for sure.

Not really sure when we will be back to FISKLAND, but we do need to be here on Tuesday so I can lead Bible study. Time to get a-going.
